The first of the Church of the Nazarene's statements of belief declares that we believe in one GOD, who has eternally existed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Isaiah 6:1-8, the prophet Isaiah is given a breathtaking glimpse of the glory and holiness of this GOD. Overwhelmed by His majesty, humbled by His holiness, and transformed by His grace, Isaiah responds to the LORD's call with the words, "Here am I. Send me!" 10/11/2026

To be human doesn't necessarily mean to be sinful. There is a stark and distinct difference between our human nature and the sinful nature. Jesus Christ came to defeat sin, we are called to participate with Him in defeating the carnal impulses of our human nature. By His grace and generous equipping, to discipline it to bring it into subjection to the will of GOD. 09/13/2026
